The fried shrimp and rump steak are highly recommended!

It was great, the food a poem, the service competent and friendly I can only recommend, we will be back next autumn

Gasthof Weininsel is a small shop in the small wine village of Nordheim am Main on the Mainschleife. We went here to eat and we were satisfied. It wasn't great, but it was pretty good. The restaurant has two bars. Unfortunately, we were always placed in the back bar, which had not yet been renovated. The front bar has already been renovated and is much brighter and more pleasant to sit in. But the bottom line was that the food was okay, the service was okay and the wine was, of course, from the winemaker on the Mainschleife and it is simply excellent 😊

We liked it very much! Tasty food, beautifully presented, very friendly service and very clean. Outside area calm and cozy. Small but nice. People like to dine here! Thank you so much!

Unfortunately, I can't rate the food, as we didn't get our seat the day before despite having made a reservation. The waitress didn't try to find a solution to the problem, but simply turned around and left. Not customer friendly for me.

You sit very well inside as well as outside. Comfort is very important here 👍 The food is absolutely great ... over the years always consistently great. The choice of dishes is plentiful. Service always friendly and nice. Tip-Reserve !!!

Were today, September 4th, 2020 to eat in the Weininsel. Despite a reservation in the outdoor area, we were assigned a table in the restaurant. Even on request, it was not possible to assign us a table outside, and an apology was not considered necessary. It's a shame, actually, as the service around here is very good. The food was good, nothing more, nothing less. Now awesome, we were in the restaurant for an hour and in the OUTDOOR AREA there were two tables free the whole time! There was no such thing as a "goodbye or goodbye or have a nice evening" to our goodbye! We will probably no longer dine at your place.

Very nice location, great modern rooms and a great kitchen, the staff and the boss are very friendly. In addition, a great starting point for trips in the area, 45 minutes to Bamberg and 5 minutes on foot to the Main.

Excellent food for a reasonable price, unlike other local restaurants. Great, friendly service and good wine, also at a good price to take away, as the host's brother has his own winery. Absolutely recommendable!

For us the best food in Volkach and the surrounding area. The portions were sufficient. Service good. Dog was also allowed.

Nice, clean room. Nice, friendly landlords and conditions. Super delicious food. If we are around again, we will definitely come back. We could safely store our bikes in the garage. Absolutely to suggest!!!

A really very nice inn with newly renovated rooms. We stayed here for one night in early July 2020. Only the beds were very hard for our taste, but that's purely objective.

Very good, despite Corona and distance rules. The food and the wines are very tasty, we will be back👍!

The Weininsel in Nordheim is a small, cozy inn with typical Franconian furnishings. There is a large car park about 100 meters away from where the restaurant can be reached quickly. The guest room can be reached via a few steps. But then you have a slightly larger and steeper staircase to the toilet. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for the disabled. There is also a small terrace on which it can be safely endured in summer. The service was very quick and friendly. The menu mainly contains regional dishes in a very good selection. Only 1-2 vegetarian dishes would have been desirable. The food came quickly, was extremely tasty and prepared with fresh ingredients at a very fair price. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely be back!

The main building with the reception is about 100 meters away, in the picture is the guest house. The rooms are rather small but very new and chic. The service was great The restaurant is very recommendable - very tasty Table should be reserved!

Nice, fast service. Drinks came quickly and the dishes also relatively quickly for a holiday. Side dishes with Swiss schnitzel on an extra plate. Was very delicious and came to the table hot! Price-performance is top!

The accommodation is very modern remodeled. The cleanliness was always the best. When the weather is nice you can sit in the beer / vineyard and enjoy the great wines. The dinner is absolutely recommendable and without any negative points. Price-performance is given. I only have to criticize the breakfast a bit. A little more variety in the sausage and cheese selection would be nice (local specialties or something), yogurt or something cake / sweet. However, this is whining on a high level and only a small extension of the otherwise very high standard. I would come back anytime. Keep it going.
